New Delhi: Baljeet Kaur, a 27-year-old Indian woman climber who had gone missing from Camp IV of Mt. Annapurna was found w alive on April 18 (Tuesday).
It was only after the ariel search that Kaur was rescued from 7,363m by the search team. Chairman at Pioneer Adventure Pasang Sherpa said that the search team located her above Camp IV.
On Monday (April 17), Kaur climbed the world’s 10th highest peak without using supplemental oxygen.
According to the Chairman at Pioneer Adventure Pasang Sherpa, the ariel search team found her descending alone towards Camp IV.
Shwrpa said that Kaur was soon rushed to CIWEC Hospital from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu after she suffered from frostbite.
A report said that prominet climber, Kaur, was left alone below the summit point and she remained out of radio contact till Tuesday morning.

In May, 20233, Kaur became the first Indian climber to have climbed four 8000-meter peaks in a single season after she scaled Mt Lhotse.
Kaur is also the first Indian female mountaineer to climb Mt Dhaulagiri’s 8,167-m high successfully.
The news about her survival comes a day after another Indian, Anurag Malu, a resident from Rajasthan’s Kishangadh died after falling from 6000m into a crevasse.
Anurag Malu was from Camp III of Mt. Annapurna.
