New Delhi: In a major loop in the security lapse in the Jammu and Kashmir, the valley police arrested a man who was posing as a top official in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) . He also interacted and held meetings with top officials in the Union territory.
According to reports, Kiran Patel has been visiting the Kashmir Valley since last October. Before his arrest Patel had also visited Kaman Post in Uri, Lal Chowk in Srinagar.
Kiran Patel was also provided Z-plus security cover, a bulletproof SUV, his accommodation was made at a five-star hotel in Jammu and Kashmir.

Kiran Bhai Patel is a resident of Gujarat.

Patel has shared multiple videos and pictures of himself enjoying the VIP treatment given by the Jammu and Kashmir Police as he posed as the official from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
Gujarat defined himself as the Additional director for strategy and campaigns in the Prime Minister’s Office.
According to his Twitter bio, he claims to have done PHD from Commonwealth Uni, Virginia, MBA from IIM TRICHY.
