Chhindwara: On Wednesday, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that he would continue to serve the public until his last breath.
“After the results of the assembly polls, I was waiting with bated breath to meet my party workers in Chhindwara. I did not expect that I would receive so much honour upon coming here. When I was coming here, I saw my sisters holding cards that read, ‘Bhaiya apan jeet gaye’ (our brother won). I dedicate this grand victory to my sisters and the people of the state”, Chouhan said while addressing a public meeting in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhindwara.
“I will continue to serve you until my last breath. I, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, promise to guarantee development in the state”, he added.

Heaping praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chouhan said, “Narendra Modiji is a blessing for our country. We will make our country ‘Vishwaguru’. The Congress used to raise questions on Ram Mandir. but now, it is going to be inaugurated under the leadership of PM Modiji”.
“I pledge to deliver every guarantee that we promised. We have to fulfil the promise of employment to every family. We have to fulfil the promise made to my sisters”, he added.

The veteran BJP leaders also pledged to deliver all 29 seats from Madhya Pradesh to the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. In 2019 the BJP had won 28 of the 29 seats.
” I am Shivraj Singh Chouhan and guarantee you progress. From today we start a new mission, Mission 29 to win all 29 seats from Madhya Pradesh. Our resolve is to make ‘lotus’ bloom on all the 29 seats of the state in the Lok Sabha elections to be held next year. For this, all of us dedicated and loyal workers of BJP will work hard with full dedication and make the organization stronger and will definitely dedicate the garland of ’29 lotuses’ to our beloved Prime Minister” Shivraj Chouhan said.
” BJP got 48.6% votes which we have not got till now. When we won 173 seats, the vote percentage was 42%. You have done a miracle” Chouhan added.
The BJP created a record in Madhya Pradesh and came back to power after having ruled the state for 18 of the past 20 years. This is an apparent indication of the party’s organizational hold in the state as well as the popularity of its schemes and leadership.
The BJP fought the polls using the strength of the party organisation and the charisma of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The party did not project any Chief Ministerial candidate in any of the poll-bound states.
