The woman later confessed to Murder
The accused told the cops that she was trying to take a nap in the afternoon when her niece entered her room. The child went to her aunt’s room and ate lunch with her. She told her to go to her mother’s room but she refused. The woman then slapped the kid and the kid started crying which triggered the accused. She then tried to silence the child by covering her nose and mouth with her hand. She realised the kid stopped moving after a few minutes. Fearing trouble the woman hid the body of the child under the sofa. Cops booked the woman for murder and took her into custody.
Child lived with her Parents in a Joint Family
The victim’s father used to live with his brother in a joint family in the Hanumantal area. Police sensed something fishy when they spotted blood on the forehead of the child’s face. The parents of the kid started hitting the accused when she narrated how the incident happened.
