Ayodhya: Ahead of the consecration of Lord Shri Ramlala, a ‘Jal Kalash Yatra’ was taken by over 500 women. Notably, this occurred on the second day of the consecration ritual. On the call of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the entire society actively participated in this event.
The yatra started from the banks of the Saryu River in the morning. Carrying urns filled with sacred water from River Saryu, the women joyfully danced to the melodious songs on Lord Ram, expressing their deep devotion to him.
Mayor Girish Pati Tripathi coordinated the yatra, and it was led by Ramalakshmi Tripathi, the mayor’s wife. Over 500 women, including Namrata Pathak, the wife of Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, and District Panchayat President Roli Singh, actively participated in this spiritually significant journey.
