New Delhi: Going office late often can ruin your impression in front of your boss. If an employees get late daily, it prompts employers to implement a rule to stop this. To deal with this situation, employers try out-of-the-box ideas all over the world.
However, a strange idea of an employer is now going viral on social media. The viral post was shared by a Twitter user namely Clever Monster with a caption, ”When you know it’s time to quit.”
The rule was released with the title ”new office rule” on an A4 size paper. It read, ”For every minute you are late for work, you will be required to work for 10 minutes after 6 pm.”
In the post, the employer further explained the rule with an example. ”For example, if you arrive at 10:02, you will have to stay an extra 20 minutes until 6:20 pm. Thank you,” said the new rule.
The post has so far received over 4 lakh likes and 38 thousand retweets.

So wait… I lose 2 minutes of regular pay up front, but you’ll pay me 18 minutes of overtime at the back end of the day. I can play this game all month.

You won’t be late if you plan your arrival time to be at least 15 minutes before your actual start time. I used to work in a school where you just didn’t come late unless there was some extreme emergency.

Don’t be late to work. And you get paid by the quarter hour, not the minute.
So basically this was time stealing from your employer but you are getting OT now.https://t.co/m82LfI4jn5
