New Delhi: You tube has put out yet another example of its hypocrisy regarding content published on its platform. Youtube has blocked Youtuber Elvish Yadav’s account on its platform, days after he denounced Dhruv Rathee’s propaganda talk in his video. Yadav is known for his nationalist opinions.

Recently, Elvish Yadav posted an opinion video on his channel, ‘exposing’ Dhruv Rathee on a factual basis. Dhruv Rathee is an another Youtuber popular for his videos that are mostly directed at targeting Modi government & its policies. His anti-government views are more of propaganda talk rather than criticism of Centre.

Yadav in his video, countered the allegations factually, made by Rathee on his channel a several times. Elvish Yadav’s takedown on Rathee received appraise in masses and was even trending on top on Twitter.

Watch the video here:

Yadav had further challenged Rathee to make a counter video if he has any factual answers at all. Yadav’s video was widely seen, shared and appreciated by social media users.

Youtube has now gone ahead and blocked Elvish Yadav’s channel from its platform. This has once again revealed the hypocrite policies of Youtube, where nationalist channels and videos are often taken down but no such review takes place in pretext of left-leaning content.

However, this is nothing new to the Indian side of social media platforms, where anti-India and anti-government content is widely promoted. Not long ago, twitter provoked the national sentiment by plublishing a distorted map of India on its official website and rejecting to follow new IT rules introduced by the Indian Government.
