New Delhi: AI art trend is taking over Twitter. Digital artists are using stereotype-based prompts to generate images. Recently, Delhi-based artist Madhav Kohli stepped onto some nerves by generating AI art of Indian Women from different states.
Though the art was stellar, stereotypical stuff rarely escapes controversies. So, Desi Twitter got divided over opinions. From angry responses to funny memes, the post got viral and now has reached 992k views.

While the AI art didn’t whitewash Indian women, some users pointed out the lack of fat women.

It feels like Delhi girls have some dedicated haters out there. One user wrote, “Delhi girls don’t have this lovely smile.”
Why UP n MP in different age groups?
Girls in Bengal are not how they actually look.
Girls in HP are prettier than shown.

For some, all women looked the same.
Many defended the artist saying, AI can’t be the ultimate reality and it’s all fun.
You need to understand AI can’t be the ultimate reality, it’s good for fun but AI takes all the inputs from data created by humans, all these pictures do no represent anything but okay for fun.

Madhav Kohli has done a men’s version of AI-generated art previously. Usually, Madhav creates mythological characters and stories using AI.
