New Delhi: With the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, what created disturbance was the precautionary caller tune. The caller tune would start with someone coughing, followed by a cautionary note on Covid-19 appropriate behaviour by Bollywood Big B, Amitabh Bachchan.
Although in January 2021, the nature of the caller tune changed, the problem associated with listening to such a long caller tune was sustained. It was quite impossible for someone to make a call and not hear the caller tune. Even making emergency calls became tough owing to this.
As the pandemic slowed down from before, a report by the news agency ANI stated that the Covid caller tune will be gone soon. It took hardly a few moments for the netizens to share a sigh of relief and flooded the Twitter feed with rib-tickling memes and jokes.
