New Delhi: Trent Boult and his one-handed catches are turning out to be a regular affair in cricket. New Zealand’s Boult took a marvelous catch dismissing Liton Das in their 3rd ODI against Bangladesh and further decided to give a stunning pose.
The catch was taken in the 7th over when Matt Henry bowled a length ball aiming at the body of Bangladesh’s Liton Das. The batsman got a leading edge by closing his bat too early.
Boult was fielding at the third man. As the poor shot, Boult closed in and dived at full length by stretching his left hand. Somehow, the ball got stuck between his fingers and palm.
The seamer then gave a pose with a smile on his face and signaled ‘out’ even the rest of New Zealand including bowler Matt Henry couldn’t believe his luck and went charging towards him for celebrations.
On March 26, ICC took to Twitter handle, reacting to Trent Boult’s stunning catch

Maybe Trent Boult went with one hand not just to make that catch look even more spectacular but also to give his own soft signal after hanging on to it #NZvBAN pic.twitter.com/hAiBPALisO
