Ahead of 41st birthday, Telugu fans honour MS Dhoni with 41-feet cutout [SEE PICS]

This cut-out is inspired by the spectacular and most memorable last six put by Dhoni in the final match of the 2011 World Cup

New Delhi: Mahendra Singh Dhoni, under whose captaincy team India won the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 Cricket World Cup, is set to mark his 41st birthday on Thursday, i.e. on July 7.

If reports are to be believed, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper is expected to celebrate his 41st birthday with his wife Sakshi in UK’s capital city London, wherein he recently celebrated his 12th marriage anniversary.

Dhoni has recently announced his retirement from international cricket, though it doesn’t seem to have any impact on his fan following.

Meanwhile, in Vijayawada district of Andhra Pradesh, special preparations are underway for the special occasion. MSD fans have installed a huge  41 feet cutout to roister the former Men in Blue.

The pictures of the huge tribute by Thala’s Telugu fans went viral as soon as they surfaced online.

This cut-out is inspired by the spectacular and most memorable last six put by Dhoni in the final match of the 2011 World Cup.

Notably, Dhoni has retired from international cricket, but he is still leading Chennai Super Kings in the popular Indian Premiere League (IPL).

CSK under his captaincy has won the title for a total of four times. Apart from this, India skipper enjoys a massive fan following in Southern India as well.

Recently, fans were surprised by Dhoni simplicity as the news of the latter visiting a desi doctor for the treatment of a knee injury surfaced in the news. Reports suggests that the Ayurveda doctor who treats the locals with plant extracts and home remedies, charged a mere amount of Rs 40 from Dhoni for a dose.

After getting his treatment done at his home town in Ranchi, Dhoni flew to England with his wife and daughter last week.
