New Delhi: The Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings’ recent face-off got extra exciting with several unexpected instances in a row.

In the first one hour of the match, Mukesh Choudhary successfully dismissed the first three batters of Mumbai Indians, with Rohit Sharma moving for the pavilion in the very first over.

Right after that, Kishan lost his wicket in the very next ball to a golden duck by Choudhary. He further got rid of Brevis in the second over of the match as well.

However, the Chennai Super Kings were able to surprisingly pull off their wonders too quite soon. Skipper Ravindra Jadeja dropped two crucial catches that he surely won’t want to repeat again, while  Mahendra Singh Dhoni missed a stumping too.

The IPL fans found these happenings to be rare with many on social media expressing their astonishment.

Talking about this matter on microblogging site Twitter, former India and Delhi Capitals spinner Amit Mishra took a jibe at former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi.

Check the tweet here:

Mishra wrote, “Jadeja dropping a catch and MSD missing a stumping is like Shahid Afridi batting sensibly with eyes open. No one can believe it happened.”

Netizens were quick to reply to Mishra’s hilarious take with witty and funny comments. Check out some early reactions here:
