Asia Cup 2022: Check all squads, match schedule, and venue details

New Delhi: Sri Lanka on Saturday became the fifth country to announce the squad for Asia Cup 2022. The details were also shared by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on its website. Earlier, four teams out of the total six participants announced their squads. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan were the first to announce their squads for the fifteenth edition of the tournament. It is reported that the delay was caused by Sri Lanka’s political muddle.

The squads for the sixth team will be announced after the qualifier match between UAE, Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuwait. According to the ICC, the 2022 Asia Cup is a six-team tournament that will start on August 27.

Asia Cup 2022: Schedule

The Asia Cup 2022 tournament will be played from August 27 to September 11 at 7.30 pm (IST) among six Asian teams.

Asia Cup 2022: Venue

Asia Cup venue was earlier decided to be Sri Lanka but due to the economical collapse of the country, the venue was changed. Now, the matches have been scheduled to be held in Dubai, while some will be played in Sharjah stadium.

Asia 2022: Groups

There will be six teams in Asia Cup 2022. Five teams are permanent include except for UAE, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Kuwait.
