Asia Cup 2022: Will it be India Vs Pak again in Super 4? Check where to watch if it happens

If Pakistan wins against Hong Kong, they will go on to face India on September 4 in Dubai.

New Delhi: India will play against Pakistan in the Super 4 stage if Pakistan wins against Hong Kong. With Afghanistan, India and Sri Lanka already in Super 4, there is only one spot left. Pakistan is a strong T20 side and it seems inevitable for Hong Kong to stop them.

Hong Kong and Pakistan will face each other on September 2, in the last game of the group stage. In the ongoing Asia Cup 2022, there are no knockouts after the group stage as in the Super 4, every team has to play a game against each other. In this way, whoever wins the game, will face India, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.

Hong Kong will be entering the match as underdogs with a fine balance of batting and bowling. With Babar Hayat’s 41 off 35 and Zeeshan Ali and Scott McKenchnie’s power-hitting against India, the team has some positives from the last game. The team highly depends on the spin services of Ehsan Khan, Murtaza and Mohammad Ghazanfar for qualification. With Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan on top, Pakistan’s batting lineup looks unstoppable in front of Hong Kong. Harris Rauf can be a bowler to look out for.
