The pacer is currently a part of the Indian team’s squad for the ongoing Asia Cup and was set to feature in their do-or-die clash against Nepal on Monday.

However, he will now miss the clash after flying back to home to be with his wife during the birth on Sunday.

Ever since the news of baby Angad’s birth has been out, netizens have started to congratulate the couple. Check out the reactions below.

Notably, Bumrah returned to international cricket after an eleven-month hiatus against Ireland last month.

Bumrah, who was also leading the side against the Irish team, had the bowling figures of 24/2 and 15/2 in the first two matches, respectively. The third match was washed out without a ball being bowled.

Nonetheless, Bumrah’s decision to fly back home is not sitting well with some fans who are criticizing the pacer for his action.
