New Delhi: India is marching strongly towards their record number of medals at the Asian Games of 70 medals, set in the 2018 Jakarta, Asian Games.
India is currently at 32 medals in the Asian Games 2023, Hangzhou, China, including 8 gold medals.
India started their day 6 on 25 medals, wasting no time. The shooting contingent added medals to the Indian tally in a flurry.
Indian men’s team started the proceeding by winning gold in men’s 50m 3p team event, followed by women’s team silver in the 10m air pistol team event.
India also added three individual medals in shooting courtesy of Palak Gulia’s gold, followed by Esha Singh and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar’s silver medals.
India also gets their first medal and track and field with, Kiran Baliyan’s bronze in women’s shot put
Tennis and squash also added silver and bronze, respectively, to take the Indian medal tally to 32.
