New Delhi: India enjoyed a day filled with milestones on Wednesday, October 4, at the Asian Games 2023.
India broke their all-time medal record as well as all-time gold medal record won at a single edition of the Asian Games.
India set the record in the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games, where they won a total of 70 medals, including, 16 golds. However, India has already won 81 medals, including 18 golds, by the end of day 11, of the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
With four more days still to go, the Indian contingent will be looking to get the magical figures of 100 overall medals this season.

Indian archery duo of Jyothi Surekha Vennam and Ojas Pravin Deotale clinched gold in the compound mixed team archery event after defeating Koreaโs So Chaewon and Joo Jaehoon in the finals.
