In the game, Radhakrishna Marripati started by bowling a 5-run over against Cornwall, while the West Indian batter unleashed the storm in the third over. Varun Sai Mantha picked up a wicket in the seventh over, dismissing Steven Taylor for 53 off just 18 balls. Cornwall built up a partnership with Sami Aslam and took the score to 326. Aslam also contributed 53* off 29 balls, but Rahkeem’s exceptional inning stole the show.

Yashwant Balaji scored the highest runs for his team, hitting 38(22). Meanwhile, Cornwall was named the Player of the Match for obvious reasons.

Subodh Bhati

However, it was not the first time that a batter scored a double ton in T20 cricket. Delhi’s Subodh Bhati became the first player to score a double century in a club T20 game. He scored 205* in 79 balls hitting 17 each sixes and fours. Also, who can forget the Gayle storm in 2013, when he scored 175* for Royal Challenger Bangalore. The highest T20I score is by Aaron Finch when he hit 172 against Zimbabwe in the 2018 tri-series.
