New Delhi: Australian cricketer Jess Jonassen tied the knot with her long-time partner Sarah Gooderham on April 6 in Hawaii. The all-rounder took to Twitter to announce their wedding and share the pictures from their wedding ceremony. The couple got married in a picturesque location on the coast of the sea on the island.
Sharing the pictures, Jess wrote, “Finally married my best friend.” She added that April 6 will always have a special place in her heart.

The pictures showed Jess wearing a white shirt and off-white pants and Sarah flaunted a white shirt and white pants with a grey blazer. The first picture shows the couple just as they are about to kiss, another one shows them walking on the coast. The last picture is a fun selfie that was taken as they flaunted their sunglasses.
They got engaged in 2018 and were set to get married in 2020, but had to postpone their plans due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Soon after she shared the post on social media, the comment section was full of ‘congratulations JJ’ comments. Sports presenters Neroli Meadows and Katie Brown, and writers Megan Maurice and Rajesh Khilare were among the notable names who wished them in the comment section. Jonassen’s franchises Delhi Capitals and Brisbane Heat also shared the pictures and congratulated them.
On the work front, Jonassen played a crucial role in Delhi Capitals reaching the finals of the WPL 2023. She picked up nine wickets in nine games and also scored 42* off 20 against UPW and 29* off 15 against RCB as her notable knocks.
