New Delhi: After scripting a historic win over Pakistan in the first test of the ongoing test series, Bangladesh looks to end the series on a high and ensure a series whitewash.
However, things turned out to be gloomy for the visitors. With the tremendous rain forecast for Rawalpindi, things got messy out in the middle. A heavy downpour meant a sluggish and slippery outfield which meant play was impossible to start. The ground staff tried their best to somehow make the ground conducive for playing.
In the end, things were not suitable for going ahead with the game and naturally, the first day ended without a single ball being bold.
