IND VS NZ: Shreyas Iyer ruled out of the upcoming 3-match ODI series against New Zealand.

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today said India batter Shreyas Iyer has been kept away from the upcoming 3-match ODI series against New Zealand due to a back injury.

BCCI also informed that Rajat Patidar has been named as the replacement for Shreyas Iyer.

India is all set to play against New Zealand in the first game of a three-match ODI series tomorrow (Wednesday, January 18) at The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

India will lock horns against New Zealand after beating Sri Lanka 3-0 in a three-match ODI series.

Team India will be led by Rohit Sharma.

The match between India and New Zealand is scheduled to be played at 1:30 PM IST.
