New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a resident of Mysuru, identified as Nikhil, died during a kickboxing competition in Bengaluru. According to the reports, Nikhil, who was one of the participants collapsed in the ring and died on July 10 at Kengeri in Bengaluru.

The tragic incident took place when Nikhil Suresh was competing at a tournament organized by the Karnataka’s K-1 association.

In the video, that is now being circulated on social media shows the kickboxing fighter collapsing in the ring, after being punched in the face by the opponent.
He was being trained at the Academy of Martial Science. A camp in Mysore which offers training in kickboxing, Muay Thai and MMA.

Father blames the organisers of the competition
Nikhil’s father claimed that no medical facilities were available at the event. He further said that the organisers are responsible for his son’s untimely demise.
‘No coach go through this’
The victims coach, Vikram Mysore Nagaraj, has also shared a post on Facebook. The coach also revealed that Nikhil’s family will be taking legal action against the organisers.
“I pray that no coach have to go through what i am going through right now! Can there be anything worse than seeing your student as good as a son fight for his life on a ventilator?”
“My boy Nikhil is in a critical state of health post a knock suffered at the K1 Kickboxing championship organized by K1 association of Karnataka on 9th and 10th of July 2022 in Bangalore.”
