New Delhi: Bollywood actress and politician Payal Ghosh recently made headlines for proposing to veteran Indian Pacer Mohammed Shami.
Expressing her willingness to marry the star cricketer, Payal, on her Twitter (Now X) handle, openly said that she is ready to marry Shami on one condition.
Her proposal came at a time when Mohammed Shami is having a dream is having a dream run in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023.
In just 4 matches, the right-arm pacer has castled 16 wickets with a brilliant economy of 7 to topple everyone and became India’s leading wicket-taker in the tournament.
His exceptional performance with the ball, which includes 2 fifers and 1 four-wicket wicket-haul has even earned him the title of ‘Player of the Match’ two times.

Who is Payal Ghosh?

For those who are unaware, Payal is a well-known Bollywood actress who has been a part of the film industry from many years. Born in the year 1992, the 31-year-old completed her education at St, Paul’s Mission School. Following that, she graduated from Scottish Church College and eventually arrived in the city of Dreams Mumbai.
She made her acting debut with the Telegu film Pranayam and then went on to work in a number of movies including Varshadhaare, Oosaraveli, Mr Rascal, and Patel ki Punjabi Shaadi in the coming years. Besides this, Payal also appeared in Star’s super hit Television show Saath Nibhana Saathiya.
After getting significant fame and success with her acting career, the actress stepped in the world of politics and became the vice president of Ramdas Athawale’s party’s women’s wing in 2020.
Mohamad Shami’s gloomy love life
On the other side, Mohammad Shami, who was previously married to Haseen Jahan, faced heavy turbulence in his professional as well as personal life when his ex-wife filed a court case while accusing him of domestic violence, match-fixing, and cheating.
Although the couple has now divorced and parted ways from each other, they do share an 8-year-old daughter who was born in their wedlock back in 2015.
