New Delhi: The final match of IPL 2023, held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Monday, saw Chennai Super King lifting the trophy for the record fifth time. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja finished the match in Captain Cool style by hitting a six and a four in the last two balls and leading the team to clinch its fifth IPL trophy. Earlier, the match was scheduled for Sunday i.e. 28 May 2023 but due to bad weather conditions, it was postponed for Monday.
The match took place in Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Hardik Pandya’s led Gujarat Titans make it to the finals while MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings won its fifth IPL title with the powerful performance of Ravindra Jadeja and Devon Conway. Sai Sudharsan of Gujarat Titans was the Game Changer for the match by giving electrifying performance of 96 runs, just a bit lagging behind from making it to the century. With its explosive innings, Gujarat Titans registered a good score of 214/4. Chasing the target Chennai Super King emerged as the winner.
