Cricketer Kedar Jadhav’s father goes missing, police launch search operation

75-year-old Mahadev Jadhav was reported missing from his home in the Kothrud area of Pune since around 3:45 pm.

New Delhi: Cricketer Kedar Jadhav’s father has gone missing in Pune on March 27. 75-year-old Mahadev Jadhav was reported missing from his home in the Kothrud area of Pune since around 3:45 pm. A complaint has been filed at the Alankar Police Station and police are currently searching for the batter’s father.

The cricketer’s family is staying near City Pride Kothrud. The police have urged anyone with information regarding Mahadev Jadhav’s whereabouts to inform them and assist in the probe.

Kedar also shared an Instagram story to inform the public about the miss happening. He shared a phone number for anyone who finds his father can contact him.

According to the report, Mahadev Jadhav is 5 feet 6 inches in height and was wearing a white shirt before going missing. Some reports also say that his phone is switched off.

Kedar Jadhav celebrated his 38th birthday yesterday.

The batter has played 73 ODIs and nine T20Is for India. His 1389 runs in the 50-over format include two centuries and six fifties. He also bowled off-break as a part-timer and has picked 27 wickets in ODIs, with the best figures of 23/3.

Jadhav last played for India in 2020, while he recently played first-class cricket for Maharashtra and also scored a ton against Mumbai this year.
