Cristiano Ronaldo to live-in with girlfriend Georgina despite strict laws in Saudi Arabia: Reports

As per some Saudi lawyers, these laws regarding relationships are no longer implemented strictly.

New Delhi: Saudi Arabia’s laws strictly prohibit the cohabitation of unmarried couples, which means, live-in relationships are prohibited in the country. However, as per the reports, Cristiano Ronaldo is likely to stay with her partner Georgina Rodriguez in Saudi Arabia. As per some Saudi lawyers, these laws regarding relationships are no longer implemented strictly.

Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Al Nassr, a football club in the Middle East, after having a rough time with Manchester United. He signed a two-year deal with the club and has reportedly received 200 million Euros for the same. With this deal, he will have to move to Saudi, which is known for its laws prohibiting live-in relationships.

Ronaldo has been with Georgina, a social media influencer, since 2016 and the couple also has two children. According to some Saudi lawyers, the couple will be able to live together, even if they are not married, as these laws are no longer strictly enforced and the authorities do not interfere with them.

The couple, along with the kids, reportedly flew to Riyadh in a private jet on January 3. Cristiano Ronaldo also shared videos and pictures of him arriving in Riyadh.

While Ronaldo has signed with the club, he might have to wait before he makes his debut with Al Nassr. The footballer will have to serve the two-match suspension he received from the Football Association for smashing an Everton fan’s phone in April 2022. Later on, he apologised for the incident but will have to undergo suspension.
