New Delhi: Australian cricketer David Warner shared a post wishing everyone a ‘Happy Ganesh Chaturthi’. Warner is po[pular for his social media presence and has an understanding of the Indian culture through IPL. He is often seen grooving to dialogues and songs from Indian movies, and now he is wishing and celebrating an Indian festival.

In the post, he can be seen praying to Ganpati in an edited image of Lord Ganesh and him wearing the Australian jersey. In the edit, he stands in front of Lord Ganesh and joins his hands to pay his regards. Sharing the post, he wrote, “To all of my friends out there, HAPPY Ganesh Chaturthi. Wishing you lots of joy an happiness!”
His fans from India were delighted to see the post. People showered love in his comment section and wished the cricketer a ‘Happy Ganesh Chaturthi’. Meanwhile, a user also commented that Warner seems to be more Indian than Australian. His love for India can be seen in many of his Instagram posts and he also gets a lot of support from Indian fans.
He is currently playing the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe. The Aussies are leading the series 2-0, while Zimbabwe is trying to give a fight. In the first ODI, Warner scored 57 off 66 deliveries while chasing a total of 200 runs. Zimbabwe tried to fight back with some wickets in the middle overs, but eventually, Steve Smith anchored the inning with his 48*(80) and Glen Maxwell finished the affairs with 32* off just 9 balls.
In the second ODI, Zimbabwe got all out for just 96. The Australian openers could not contribute much and Australia was 16/2 when Smith and Alex Carey chased the score. David Warner scored 13 off 9 in the game.
