New Delhi: After thrashing England in the first T20I, the Aussies are gearing up for a series win as they take on the Three Lions in the 2nd T20I. Australia won the first T20I on the back of a stunning fifty by Travis Head. The left-hander partnered 86 runs with Matthew Short which helped the Aussies to a competitive total of 179 runs in 19.3 overs.
In reply, England came out all guns blazing to make a statement in front of their home crowd. However, the Australian bowlers led by Josh Hazelwood struck at regular intervals to bundle out the hosts for a paltry 151 runs in 19.2 overs. Liam Livingstone was the top scorer with 37 off 27. Meanwhile, skipper Salt scored a paltry 20 off 12.
