New Delhi: The Tendulkar family is enjoying some off-time in the UK, and the legend Sachin Tendulkar has kept his fans updated of how his exotic trip is going for past several days via social media.
Though this once, it isn’t the glimpses from Tendulkar that caught the eye of the internet, but a pic from England woman cricketer Danni Wyatt.
On Monday evening, Wyatt shared a pic of Tendulkar’s son Arjun while on a dinner outing with herself.
Wyatt is among the significant members of England’s women cricket team that finished as runner-ups in the recently concluded Cricket World Cup in New Zealand.
A few years ago during an interview, Wyatt had given a peek into her friendship with the Tendulkar family.
In an interaction with Cricket.com in 2020, Wyatt had described her first meeting with the Tendulkars when she was a part of MCC Young Cricketers group and Arjun was just 10 years old.
“I first met Sachin and Arjun at Lord’s Cricket Ground in maybe 2009 or 2010, when I was with the MCC young cricketers. The two were practising on the net and went over to say hi and introduce myself. Arjun was quite young at that time, I bowled to him that day and realised he was actually good at cricket”.
“Since then, wherenever they (Tendulkars) come to Lord’s I make sure to call Arjun to practise on the net. Though with time he’s getting dangerous to face”.
Sharing the pic of her dinner with Arjun on her Insta story, Wyatt wrote, “Good to see my little mate for a Nandos yesterday”.

For the unversed, Arjun was a part of Mumbai Indians squad in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, wherein the franchise had bought him for Rs 30 lakh at the auction event.
However, despite fans wanting to see Tendulkar play in the much hyped-up tounament, he did not played a single match in the IPL 2022.
