New Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders managed to stay in the fight after knocking over Mumbai Indians by 52 runs and qualifying for the IPL playoffs on Monday.

With the completion of 56 matches in the ongoing IPL season, each team has played almost 11 games in the tournament, while 9 have kept themselves in the league, seeking to reach the knockouts. Though the picture of the first qualifiers isn’t clear yet, but Lucknow Super Giants who stands at the top of the points table, and the newbie Gujarat Titans who made their debut with the latter could make it to the top-four if scored a win on Tuesday night.

Here’s a concise look at the winning chances of all nine teams: 

1. Lucknow Super Giants

The team who have already amassed 16 points, will be needing just one more win in order to make it to the knockouts. The squad has played 11 games in the tournament yet, and have devlivered 8 wins, 3 losses with 16 points in their kitty and an astonishing net run rate of +0.120.

2. Gujarat Titans

In their total 11 matches played in the ongoing season, the team has nabbed 8 wins and 3 losses with 16 points on the hand. The team has 3 more matches ahead, wherein one win will be enough for the progress, though 3 defeats would make it difficult for them to reach the knockouts.

3. Rajasthan Royals 

Rajasthan has three games ahead in the current league, wherein two wins will garner them a playoffs spot, while 3 deafeat will take the squad down. The teams stands in the tournament with 11 matches, 7 wins, 4 losses, and 14 points.

4. Royal Challengers Bangalore

Bangalore has been in 12 face offs in the league with 7 wins, 5 losses, and 14 points in their kitty. Two defeats could disquality the squad, while two wins can help them reach the knockouts.

5. Delhi Capitals

Delhi has been through 11 matches yet with 5 wins and 6 losses, garnering 10 points in the season. The squad has to face off 3 more matches ahead.

6. Sunrisers Hyderabad 

Played 11 games with 5 wins and 6 losses, the team stands with 10 points on the points table. With a net run rate of -0.031, the squad has to play 3 more matches in the league.

7. Punjab Kings

Punjab has played a total of 11 matches with  5 wins and 6 losses. With 10 points and a net run rate of -0.231, the team will contest in three more matches.

8. Kolkata Knight Riders
