Vettel made his debut with BMW Sauber in the 2007 United States Grand Prix, and between 2010 and 2013, he went on to win the world title four times with Red Bull. He is also third on the all-time list of Grand Prix winners with 53 victories, just behind Lewis Hamilton (103) and Michael Schumacher (91).
His fans also got emotional and pored in messages for the FI driver on social media. #Seb5 is trending on Twitter since the racer made the announcement as 5 is his car number.
Sebastian Vettel will always be a legend, an icon and a role model. Next season will be so strange and the grid so much more empty without him?

I always knew after all these years
There’d be laughter, there’d be tears
But never thought I’d walk away
With so much joy, but so much pain
And it’s so hard to say “goodbye”Grazie di tutto campione ❤️ #Seb5 pic.twitter.com/6gFMHlKzhj
