Ever since his fallout with Pep regarding the game time last season, Cancelo never seemed to be comfortable staying on the blue side of Manchester. Cancelo went for a six-month loan last season to Bayern in the winter transfers. However, Bayern failed to come to an agreement with City to buy Cancelo, and the 29-year-old was forced to come back to Etihad Stadium. Nonetheless, he seems to have avoided City for at least one more season after securing his loan move to Barcelona. Cancelo will be joining his former captain İlkay Gündoğan at Barcelona.
