#GlazersOut trending on Twitter as Man U fans protest against owners

The United fans have led various digital campaigns against the Glazers and even now #GlazersSellManUtd is trending on Twitter along with #GlazersOut.

New Delhi: Manchester United fans are protesting against the Glazers and want them out of the club. Avram Glazer saw protests by the Red Devils fans ahead of their game against Brighton on August 7. Eventually, United lost the game against Brighton on the home ground.

Glazer is an executive co-chairman and a director at United and is not much liked by the fans for the mismanagement since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013. The Americans are now in the spotlight as the fans protested by holding a banner that said, “Fight Greed. Fight for United. Fight Glazers.”

The fans now demand the Glazers to leave the club and give them back their United. The United fans have led various digital campaigns against the Glazers and even now #GlazersSellManUtd is trending on Twitter along with #GlazersOut. Manchester United fans are pouring in with their rage and comments on the internet.

Fans pointed out the problems under the Glazers’ management and asked them to leave.

The fans who cannot join the protest physically, are protesting through other means.

Jim Ratcliffe, the owner and CEO of Ineos Chemical Group, is said to be the only person in football to be wealthy enough to buy Manchester United.

In the game, Pascal Gross scored two back-to-back goals for Brighton to get a decisive lead against the hosts. In the second half, when United took a corner, the ball bounced off Dalot and Mac Allister trying to save, put it in his own goal post. Manchester United lost the game as the score stood 2-1 after full-time.
