New Delhi: Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant is undergoing recovery after surgery, following a road accident. The cricketer shared a new video on social media as a step towards recovery. In the video, Pant can be seen inside a swimming pool, walking from one corner to another.

Sharing the video, Rishabh Pant wrote that he is grateful for small and big things and everything in between them. His fans poured in ‘get well soon’ messages in the comments and wished for his speedy recovery.

The video shows the cricketer walking inside the pool with the help of a stick. He met with a life-threatening accident and has been unable to walk properly since then. He has been sharing health updates on social media and has shared such pictures and videos regularly.

Recently, he shared a picture of himself playing chess on his Instagram stories.

Pant has been grateful and has thanked his fans and authorities for their support during tough times. Earlier he shared pictures of him walking on the terrace with the help of support as he started his journey to recovery.

Rishabh also shared a picture of himself playing Holi, which showed his face covered in colour as the cricketer holds a plate.

While Pant has missed the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, the cricketer will not play the upcoming IPL season but Delhi Capitals’ head coach Ricky Ponting wants him to be around even if he just sits in the dugout. Meanwhile, David Warner is likely to lead DC this season.

On the other hand, India will miss his services in the World Test Championship finals. KS Bharat has replaced Pant in the team for time being. He was also likely to be part of India’s World Cup squad, though KL Rahul has been preferred over him in the ODIs.
