New Delhi: Jasprit Bumrah’s fearsome bowling during the 1st Test between India and Australia got a warm reception on the internet. However, skipper Bumrah who has a reputation for uprooting the stumps of fearsome batters was himself bowled out by a comment from his wife and sports broadcaster Sanjana Ganesan.

Bumrah’s terrific spell of 5/30 has put India in the driving seat of the Perth Test, with the Australians succumbing to a paltry 104/10 in response to India’s 150.
Bumrah’s captaincy and fearsome bowling were praised by Wasim Akram and Lasith Malinga. However, these reactions fell short of Sanjana Ganesan’s witty and wacky remarks. On her Instagram handle, she shared a story with a picture of Bumrah and wrote: “Great bowler, even greater booty.”
The Instagram story has gone viral and has spread like wildfire amongst netizens.
What happened in the match so far?
On a juicy green top of the Optus stadium (Perth), scorched by the ‘snake cracks’ due to the unusual weather, the Indian batting lineup was rocked by the pace trio of Australia.
Apart from KL Rahul (26 in 74 balls, with three fours), Rishabh Pant (37 in 78 balls, with three fours and a six) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (41 in 59 balls, with six fours and a six), none of the batsmen managed to contribute any meaningful score to the team total. The men in blue ended the first innings at 150/10.
