New Delhi: India won its first match of Asia Cup 2022 against Pakistan by five wickets on Sunday evening. Hardik was declared Man of the Match for his spectacular innings in the match. He scored 33 runs off 17 balls and also bagged three wickets in the match.
Pandya is now going viral on the internet for a moment during the match when he was seen hugging Pakistani player Mohammad Rizwan from behind. Seeing the video, many people on Twitter reacted with memes while a few loved the move.
Some users compared Hardik’s move with Kapil Dev and Virat Kohli as Dev and Kohi used to greet Imran Khan and Shaheen, respectively, in the same manner.

Notably, the next between Bangladesh and Afghanistan will be played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in UAE. The first match between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan was played on August 27. In the match, Sri Lanka defeated Afghanistan.
