New Delhi: In a recent interview given by former Indian coach, Rahul Dravid, the Indian batsman revealed that the secret behind Australia’s win in the 2023 World Cup had been Travis Head’s bat. According to Dravid, Head’s scintillating innings in the final was one of the main reasons according to Dravid for India’s massive heartbreak in front of the home crowd.
Speaking at the CEAT Cricket Awards ceremony on Wednesday, Dravid remarked, “I remember whatever it was, we beat Travis Head’s bat 15 times — he did not touch a single ball. You know, things can go your way sometimes, but you have to stick to the process…” Dravid’s observations were spot on as Head’s blistering innings proved to be the difference between India and Australia.
