New Delhi: Galaxy Racers which is an esports and gaming organization has been selected as the official broadcaster of La Liga and Serie A in the Indian subcontinent.
The Spanish league has reportedly signed a 15-year contract with the Dubai-based company to increase its popularity in the Middle East and the Southeast Asian regions. La Liga has seen dwindling popularity in recent times after the two jewels- Messi and Ronaldo left the league to try their fortunes outside Spain.

Speaking about this brand new policy change to include GXR in the broadcasting area, the La Liga chief remarked, “An innovative pathway to share its intellectual property through a local partner already offering considerable market reach and a platform for growth that leverages expertise in six key verticals: licensing, content creation, esports, influencer and talent management, merchandising, and music.”
What is the GXR gaming?
GXR is a Dubai-based gaming company which specialises in esports and was founded by Paul Roy. The company shifted to Dubai in 2019. Subsequently, the company has started competing in various esports tournaments, and GXR gaming has been named Nigma Galaxy.

GXR and La Liga have signed a bond of € 3 billion to form a new company which will look after the new broadcasting side of the league. Furthermore, both sides have agreed on a 50-50% ownership deal.
