ICC releases the official anthem for the ODI World Cup 2023, netizens sparks meme fest

The video is composed by Pritam and features B-town star Ranveer Singh as lead.

New Delhi: With just 15 days left before the commencement of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, ICC has released the official theme song for the marquee tournament on Wednesday.

The song is titled, ‘DIL JASHN BOLE’ and is composed by the famous music director Pritam. It features ‘Befikre’, star Ranveer Singh as the lead.

The video of the song is uploaded by ICC on their social media platform X (Formerly known as Twitter), with the caption, “DIL JASHN BOLE! #CWC23, Official Anthem arriving now on platform 2023. Board the One Day Xpress and join the greatest cricket Jashn ever.”

The song is sung by seven singers including, Pritam, Nakash Aziz, Sreerama Chandra, Amit Mishra, Jonita Gandhi, AKASA and Charan.

The song also features many social media influencers like Be YouNick, Scout and also the well-known choreographer and Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife Dhanashree Verma.

Fans who had high hopes for the anthem after the 2011 banger, ‘De Ghuma Ke,’ from the Shankar-Ehsaan- Loy, trio. But, were left disappointed by the newest anthem. So much so that they started meme fest on the social media platform X (Formerly known as Twitter).
