Although both boxers have found themselves in the middle of some extraordinary development which does not have any relevance to their boxing capabilities, none can take away the fact that both boxers have fought with extraordinary merit to reach the gold medal rounds. However, the IOA had decided to ban the jurisdiction of the IBA meaning that both the boxers can compete in the Olympics irrespective of the decision of the IBA. According to alleged reports both Imane and Liu possess 'XY' chromosomes which disqualifies them from the women's competitions. However, upon a thorough cross-examination of these outlandish claims, it was found that all reports were only half-baked truths to cancel the candidature of both the boxers from taking part in the competition.
