New Delhi: After India beat Australia 2-1 in the Test series, the teams are now gearing up for the 3-match ODI series, which will be preparatory games for the upcoming ICC World Cup in India. The India-Australia cricket rivalry and friendship have gone beyond the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and with ODis and WTC finals around the corner, there is a lot of exciting cricket to offer.
The teams will be missing their regular captains in the first game on March 17. Rohit Sharma will not play the first ODI due to family commitments, so Hardik Pandya will lead the side, while Steve Smith is the Australian captain for the series as Pat Cummins is back home as his mother passed away recently.
