New Delhi: The Indian cricket team, after dismissing the English team cheaply on day 1, have taken a mammoth lead of 190 runs, thanks to half-centuries from Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
India, who came out to bat from 421 for seven on day 3, were dismissed after adding only 15 more runs, as Joe Root and Rehan Ahmed shared the remaining wickets by bowling on tight lines and not allowing Indian batters to open their hand.

However, with the pitch turning enormously and the bounce almost gone, India can finish the game on day 3 itself if the English batters fail to adapt to the conditions quickly.
First Innings Summary
England, after winning the toss, came out to bat first and got themselves to flyer thanks to their opening pair of Zak Crawly and Ben Duckett.
However, India made a quick comeback with regular wickets to finish off the English Innings on 246, but not before English skipper Ben Stokes’ brilliant 70 off 88 innings.
