New Delhi: With the Women’s T20 World Cup beginning on February 10, fans are waiting for another India-Pakistan clash. Both teams will start their campaign by facing each other. India and Pakistan are placed in Group B, along with England, West Indies and Ireland. With women’s cricket taking up centre stage, the game between Harmanpreet Kaur’s and Bismah Maroof’s women will be a clash to watch out for.

While India has always been the dominant side of the two, in their last outing in the Asia Cup, Nida Dar helped Pakistan to a 13-run victory. The teams will look to start their World Cup campaign on a high note and will be an important game as both have to face a tough team in England later.

February 12, Sunday has been chosen as the apt day for the game. The match will begin at 6:30 pm IST in Newlands, Capetown. The World Cup will be live-streamed on Dinsey+ Hotstar.

India was the runner-up of the last Women’s T20 World Cup and will look out to win the trophy this time. The U-19 T20 World Cup victory has come as a big boost and Shafali Verma and Richa Ghosh are expected to play a crucial role with the senior team too. The experience of Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana and Shikha Pandey will be the key to India’s success while in-form Deepti Sharma and Renuka Thakur will try to do what they do best.

Bismah Maroof along with experienced campaigners Nida Dar and Fatima Sana will look to beat India once again. Nashra Sandhu, who also bowled well against India in the Asia Cup will be a bowler to look out for while young Ayesha Naseem has emerged as a big hitter for her side.
