IND vs SL: Rohit Sharma had a quick banter with cameraman; Offered him coffee in ‘cold Dharamsala’ (VIDEO)

Rohit Sharma after being knocked out was seen enjoying a cup of coffee in the dressing room in the cold weather of Dharamsala.

New Delhi: Team India had put forth one of their best performances on Saturday, successfully chasing down 184 runs to beat Sri Lanka by 7 wickets at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala. The evening at Dharamsala was spine-chilling with the temperature fluctuating between 4 to 8 degrees Celsius on Saturday. Besides, there was some morning as well as afternoon showers as well. Although the captain Rohit Sharma did not do well with his bat, he enjoyed the batting of the middle-order batters.

Rohit Sharma after being knocked out was seen enjoying a cup of coffee in the dressing room in the cold weather of Dharamsala. During that time, he realised that a camera was on him and he quickly decided to have a quick banter with a concerned cameraman.

The 34-year jokingly offered the coffee to the cameraman following a laugh about it.

The video of the funniest moment was uploaded by BCCI on their official Instagram account. The caption attached to the video stated, “?? When coffee calls ☕ in the cold Dharamsala weather ❄️❄️”

Chasing a total of 184 runs seemed to be worrisome after the consequent fall of Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan.

However, Shreyas Iyer and Sanju Samson steadily scored runs on the scoreboard before the former experienced an amazing partnership with Ravindra Jadeja with 17 balls to spare.

Iyer scored 74 off 44 deliveries whereas Samson attached 39 runs to his name off 25 balls after which Jadeja came in and played brilliantly scoring 45 of 18 balls.

In the first innings, Pathum Nissanka’s 75 runs off 53 balls and later skipper Pathum Nissanka’s 47 runs off 19 helped Sri Lanka to reach a total of 183 for five.

The third match of the T20I series will be played at the same place later today.
