India A Squad Announced!: Tilak Verma set to lead the side at the ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup

New Delhi: Team India A is all set to start their ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 campaign with the tournament opener against defending champions, Pakistan Shaheens. Last year, Team India A was defeated by the Pakistan Shaheens in the Final by 128 runs. The tournament will feature eight teams divided into two groups of four teams each.

BCCI recently announced the India A squad under the captaincy of Tilak Verma. Besides Verma, Abhishek Sharma has been assigned the role of vice-captaincy. Many other promising players like Vaibhav Arora, Ramandeep Singh and Prabhsimran Singh have got a chance in the playing XI.

Alternatively, the selectors will name a strong India A squad in the coming days for the tour to Australia. The present squad is built on white ball specialists who have the potential to strike meaty blows and score quick runs.
