New Delhi: A young Indian side led by Shubman Gill and anchored by VVS Laxman has touched down in Zimbabwe for a 5-match T20I series. After winning the World Cup many key players have retired from the side like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja. On the other hand, India’s former head coach Rahul Dravid also retired from the game.
Naturally, a second-string side with a temporary captain and a head coach is set to lead the side to Zimbabwe. Many players have found their place in the squad owing to their phenomenal IPL record like Abhishek Sharma and Riyan Parag.
