Usman Khwaja’s words of encouragement…
Amidst this conundrum of probabilities and the uphill task of facing India, Australian cricketer Usman Khwaja has come out with a word of encouragement for his teammates. Khwaja urged his fellow countrymen to keep calm and ‘move past’ from the Afghanistan game. “We still have a chance, we need to beat India. When the pressure is on in the World Cup, Australia usually comes out on top.”
However, things are far from rosy for the Aussies. In the pre-match show, Australia’s dynamic all-rounder Glenn Maxwell said that the game against India is more like a “quarterfinal for us!” In this “do or die” situation it will be interesting to see which team comes out on top.
