
New Delhi: India all-rounder Hardik Pandya who was carried off on a stretcher after an injury during the Asia Cup 2018 clash against Pakistan, produced a monster hit to guide India to a tense win over Pakistan after four years in Asia Cup 2022 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
The game between India and Pakistan became a crucial as team as chasing a target of 148, Hardik Pandya hit three boundaries and a six in the last two overs to take India home with two balls to spare. Hardik’s spectacular performance has won everyone’s hearts.
In the 19th over, Hardik’s three boundaries took India to near the win as the team needed seven runs in six balls.
Hardik’s huge six on the fourth delivery of the last ball is what lead team India defeat Pakistan by 5 wickets.

But four years ago, in 2018, Hardik Pandya was left injured while playing against Pakistan, the incident took place in the 18th over (17.5)when he missed his footing in his follow-through.
Pandya was the attended by the Indian team physio. Hardik who laid on the ground following the incident was the carried off.
