New Delhi: Defending Asian Champions Trophy (ACT) winners, India successfully defended their ACT 2024 title by beating hosts China in the finals. Jugraj Singh was the difference between the two sides as he slipped in a cheeky ball supplied by Indian skipper Harmanpreet Singh. The Chinese team played with full spirit and grit to stop the Indian team from creating too many dangerous chances towards the goal.

The highlight of the game has to be however, the mind-boggling saves made by the goalkeepers of both sides Wang Weihao and Krishan Bahadur Pathak. In total both teams took 9 attempts on the target through the penalty corners. However, none of the players from either side was able to score the required goal for their respective teams.

Although the Chinese team was thrashed 3-0 in their group-stage game by the Indian team, the Chinese team bounced back strongly in the final to loose the game by the barest of the margin.
