New Delhi: The official date and time schedule for IPL 2022 auction has been announced. The IPL Mega Auction will take place on 12th and 13th of February in Bengaluru. The event is scheduled to start at 11 AM.
The announcement was made on Indian Premier League’s verified Twitter handle.
The IPL 2022 Auction will be broadcasted live on Star Sports network.

Earlier, the BCCI had finalised a list of around 590 players for the IPL 2022 mega auction out of which 370 are Indian players and 270 are overseas players.
Meanwhile, overseas players are from different countries like England, Sri Lanka, Australia, South Africa, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, among others.
Over 1,214 players have register for IPL 2022 Player Auction this year.
According to reports, the first match will be played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Chennai’s home ground Chepauk.
It is said, that this will probably be the last of IPL Auctions. Also, two new franchises have assigned their captains as well.
Meanwhile, KL Rahul will lead the Lucknow franchise while Hardik Pandya will lead Ahmedabad.
Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians have assigned captains as well.
